From the rough Baltic Sea to near-complete calm – “PBS Sailing Team” won bronze at the 59th Kuršių marių regata!
From July 25 to August 1, “PBS Sailing Team”, led by skipper Simonas Rasimavičius, finished among the top four in all five “Platu 25” class races.
Results:
3rd place among 10 “Platu 25” crews – just one point short of silver.
4th place overall in the Sports Yacht division among 17 teams.
This year’s regatta demanded the ability to adapt to completely different sailing conditions – from strong winds, rain, and high waves in the Baltic Sea to near-total calm in the Curonian Lagoon. In such races, success depends not only on sailing skills, but also on teamwork, sound decision-making, and the ability to stay on course.
