From May 29–31, the traditional international Galvė Taurė 2026 in Trakai once again brought together a strong sailing community from across the Baltic countries. This year, more than 50 yachts competed in the regatta, including 16 teams in the highly competitive Platu 25 class.
The “PBS Sailing Team” finished the regatta in 7th place overall in the Platu 25 fleet. The series offered no shortage of challenges – navigation racing, windward-leeward courses, changing weather conditions, stronger winds, lighter patches, and tactical battles for every meter on the course.
The team completed the regatta with 34 points and showed real determination in the final race, securing an impressive 4th place finish against strong competition. More importantly, this result reflects continued progress: stronger teamwork, clearer decision-making, improved pace, and an even stronger team spirit.
A sincere thank you to the “PBS Sailing Team” crew for their dedication, focus, and commitment throughout the regatta. We are proud of a team that demonstrates the same values both on the water and in everyday business – trust, collaboration, and a constant drive to improve.
We would also like to thank Gero Vėjo Klubas, the Lithuanian Sailing Union, the race officials, and the entire Trakai sailing community for organizing an excellent regatta weekend.
The wind may change, but the goal remains the same.
